…'cause Pelosi and Reid are gonna go out and get Osama…

 Queen of the moonbats

Un-frickin-believable.  And there are people who hear them and go, "Yeah! Now we're talkin'!"

I am convinced that to be a Democrat, you have to have a complete and utter lack of shame.

To be able to get up in front of the cameras and just say whatever you think will get you noticed (and votes), when it contradicts what you've said before, AND to say it like you really mean it, takes a complete lack of moral fiber.

But then, we had the Clintons for eight years, so I don't know why this still bothers me.

U.S. ports and the UAE February 22, 2006

Posted by RepublicanWitch in Political Stuff.

These last few days, I’ve been trying to find out everything I can (yeah, me and millions of others) about the situation with the 6 U.S. ports coming under the control of a company out of the UAE.

I can’t believe that the President would support this so strongly if it posed a danger to us.  Say what you will, he has a deep love for this country, and he has shown it time and again.

I should have known, had I waited for The Anchoress to weigh in, I could have saved myself a few many hours of typing and re-typing, trying to explain why we should wait and see what he has in mind.  Actually, it’s Buster who explains it so eloquently, but with The Anchoress as his mom, what else could we expect?

A snippet:

…I thought it was an interesting take on it, and told him so. “I look at it this way,” Buster said. “He’s gotta have a reason for backing this, and I can’t for a second believe that his reasonings are for anything but America’s good. The problem is, as usual, he absolutely STINKS at making things clear. People are screaming that they don’t understand what he’s doing…all he’s doing is being consistant. People used to love him for that. Also, I think he’s showing off who the racists are. Do you realize, that this is ONE MORE THING Bush has done that – really – the left should be approving of? Just like liberating women in Afghanistan, just like closing down the rape rooms in Iraq, this is one more thing the left would approve of if only someone else were president, because it precludes the racist element. But of course, they’ll hate him for it, too.”

Go here and read this, then get out your pens & paper and write to the judges.  Now!  Do it!

Here’s a preview:

Lynn Stewart was convicted of providing material support, through a press conference and allowing access by her translator, to a terrorist conspiracy to kill persons outside of the United States and conspiring to defraud the U.S. government when acting as counsel to Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind Egyptian cleric who was convicted in 1996 of plotting terrorist attacks against various sites in the New York City area.

“The September 11 terrorist attacks on America were an “armed struggle” like Hiroshima and Dresden. I have a lot of trouble figuring out why that is wrong, especially when people are placed in a position of having no other way.” Lynne Stewart.

Let’s make sure this woman person terrorist NEVER sees another day out of jail, until she’s carried out in a box.

What are you still doing here?  GO WRITE THAT LETTER!

Jimmy Carter was one of the worst U.S. presidents in history – If you’re as old as I am, you’ll remember being thrilled to get a mortgage that was “only” 14%, lining up at the gas station on the correct day of the week so you could fill up, watching the burning of our embassy in Tehran and the taking of American hostages, and killer rabbits.

Good thing he had lust in his heart, ’cause he didn’t (and by his actions today, still doesn’t) have a brain in his head.

Turning a funeral into a political rally?  Shame on you, Jimmy, and your cohorts: Bill, Hillary, Lowery.  You wouldn’t know honor, class or dignity if it came up and bit you in the ass.

Shame on you

Via Knowledge is Power: This is respect

O, Great Spirit
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
Hear me.
I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes
ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things I have made
and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things
you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
in every rock and leaf.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy-myself.
Make me always ready it come to you with
clean hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you without shame.

May you rest in peace in the arms of the Great Spirit, Cpl. Lundstrom.

From Riehl World View – take a look.  In case you’ve forgotten.

And from Michelle Malkin – who’s next?

We know these cartoons were published last year – and I’m sure not many of the rioters had subscriptions to the various newspapers involved.  David Conway at Civitas has, I think, hit the nail on the head with his analysis:

But who wanted or caused the heat to become so turned up and why at that this particular moment?

The clue to the answers to this second question lies in a second event almost certain to occur to today, if it has not already happened by the time this blog gets posted. This is the likely decision today in Vienna by the International Atomic Energy Agency to report Iran to the UN Security Council for continuing with its programme of nuclear research. If that decision should occur, when the UN Security Council gets round to considering what form of sanctions to impose on Iran, guess to whom chairmanship of the Council will have passed. You’ve got it… plucky little Denmark.

Suddenly, the pieces fall into shape. The rumpus suddenly escalated, complete with fabricated offensive cartoons, to so enflame Muslim opinion that Denmark could be intimidated directly through a threatened Muslim boycott of its goods, or indirectly by the EU fearful of a wider boycott, into voting in favour of Iran.
