THE JOURNAL NEWS
Jessica Kelter knows the prayer vigil she is organizing against "The Da Vinci Code" at the New City Cinema tomorrow and Sunday won't stop the theater from screening the film."I'm doing it to defend my faith," said Kelter, 23, a stay-at-home mom.Kelter's vigil will be one of several protests in the Lower Hudson Valley and among an estimated 1,000 nationwide tied to the release of the film, which is based on Dan Brown's best-selling novel. Starting tomorrow, when the film opens, Roman Catholics associated with the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property will recite the rosary, sing hymns and chant the litany of the saints to protest what the organization calls "Gnostic heresy." [emphasis mine-RW].
Reciting the rosary. Singing hymns. Chanting the litany of the saints.

Yet the ACLU will tell you that Christians are more dangerous than those members of the "religion of peace". Or is that religion of pieces?

Planning on seeing the movie? I would be curious to read your after action report on the movie.
There are protestors here at the theater as well. Luckily they are a local Catholic bunch and much more behaved than the Baptists who protested Brokeback Mountain. During that time there was a kids movie showing as well and you had to wade through giant signs of aborted fetuses to get to the movie.
